Instead of traditional lectures where experts speak to an audience, Bergen Global facilitates discussions between experts—allowing the audience to take on the role of a fly on the wall in engaging conversations. This creates a more authentic experience and provides deeper insight into complex topics.
From Temporary Solutions to a Professional Production
The need for a flexible communication arena arose during the COVID-19 pandemic when bringing researchers and key figures to Bergen became a challenge. Initially, production was resource-intensive, requiring multiple people to manage camera work and technical execution. After a period of temporary solutions, it became clear that the concept was highly effective—leading Bergen Global to invest in a more robust and user-friendly system.

In collaboration with Bergen Global, we have developed a solution that enables a single operator to manage a professional multi-camera production, with support for remote participants, interactive panel discussions, and audience engagement—both physical and digital.
The Technology Behind the Solution

A successful production requires high-quality camera work, audio, and lighting - all integrated into a system that is both powerful and easy to use. Cameras – Flexible PTZ Control
With the installation of PTZ cameras (Pan-Tilt-Zoom), the operator can quickly switch between camera angles and frames, creating dynamic visuals and a professional viewing experience. This eliminates the need for multiple camera operators and simplifies production.
Audio – Clear Speech Without Visual Disruption
To maintain an intimate atmosphere in the room, high-quality audio is essential—without the equipment dominating the scene. In close collaboration with Bergen Global, we have delivered and installed a discreet PA system that ensures clear and intelligible speech throughout the room while remaining visually unobtrusive.
Lighting – A Professional Touch
Lighting plays a crucial role in both streaming and physical stage design. A well-thought-out lighting solution creates a comfortable atmosphere, ensures that speakers are clearly visible, and contributes to a professional overall impression. At the same time, the lighting must integrate naturally into the space without distracting the audience. Our solution balances these considerations to provide optimal visibility and ambiance.
